Born in Montenegro, Vedrana Kovač embarked on her musical journey under the guidance of Prof. Anka Asanovic. She further honed her skills at the Moscow State Conservatory, studying under the mentorship of Prof. Lev Naumov. Her pursuit of musical mastery led her to the Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Italy. Prof. Emmanuil Monaszon in Moscow and Prof. Horst Leichtfried at the Wiener Musik Collegium in Vienna played instrumental roles in shaping her pianism, drawing on the profound foundations of Theodor Leschetitzky’s technique.

Vedrana’s collaboration with the renowned geophysicist, academician, and passionate pianist Evgeniy Artyushkov culminated in the creation of the multimedia book Piano Beyond Conservatory, offering a scientific analysis of the performance techniques of great pianists.

With her emotionally charged performances and a sound best described as “piano with vocal cords,” Vedrana has graced esteemed music centres across Europe, America, and Asia. She has shared the stage with esteemed orchestras such as the Russian Svetlanov State Academic Orchestra, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, Amazonas Philharmonic Orchestra, Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, and Montenegrin Strings.

Her artistry has resonated in prestigious venues such as Tokyo Suntory Hall, Osaka Symphony Hall, the Theatre in Manaus, and the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, among many others.

Notably, she contributed to the musical program of the FIFA World Cup and celebrated Croatia’s accession to the European Union.

Beyond her pianistic accomplishments, Vedrana is also an accomplished opera singer, making her an outstanding and truly multitalented artist.
